Enables mobile money end users to pay for ordinary goods such as salt, soap, sugar, paraffin, transport fares, groceries , fuel and also payment for utilities such as water, electricity, pay TV, airtime and data. directly using mobile money from any shop where a blinkpay POS is available.

For the banked population, blinkpay enables them to pay for goods and services directly using their normal ATM cards (debit cards) without going through VISA although VISA transactions are also available on the blinkpay POS.

Pricing

The blinkpay POS is commission based and has no upfront costs. However for business owners that want airtime vending and bill payments enabled, a minimum stock deposit of 750,000 UGX (Seven hundred fifty thousand Uganda Shillings) is required. The 700,000 UGX will be deposited on the merchants account for bill payments while 50,000 UGX is management/adminsitrative fee.
